Every performer knows the moment: you’re about to step on stage, and your body betrays you. Sweaty palms. Racing heart. Shaky knees.

For me, it’s usually right as the lights dim. My brain whispers: You could still run. (Spoiler: I don’t run. I can’t run in heels.) Instead, I take a breath, square my shoulders, and remind myself: this isn’t fear, it’s fuel.

I’m curious—how do you handle nerves? Do you reframe, push through, laugh at yourself? Or do you have a ritual (lucky socks, a pep song, deep breathing) that grounds you?

Drop your answer in the comments. You never know, your trick might help someone else face their next “stage,” whatever it looks like.
