To walk the lands of Aestraea is to navigate a world defined by its waters, its peaks, and the resilient life that clings to its rivers. Whether you arrive via the Varaskian Sound or trek through the Talesher Steppes, every path eventually leads back to the heart of our story.

The Heart of the World: Druth Cael

At the center of our map sits Druth Cael and the city of Iranthel. This is the first circle of our journey, surrounded by the life-giving flow of the Thal’marin River and protected by the towering Thalen Peaks to the east. It is the anchor point for the civilizations that strive to survive and find rebirth.

The Wild Borders

As we move outward, the world grows more untamed:

  • To the North: Past the Sylarae, the land stretches into the Sundrath Expanse before meeting the far reaches of the Northern Salt Sea (Marr’naketh).

  • To the South: The Lanestra Foothills give way to the Aestryn Falls, where the land finally meets the Shal’dorin Sea at the edge of Kairavija. This is where the Hearthlight Tavern resides (also called The Tavern at Map’s Edge).

  • To the East: Beyond the Dornspire Ridge, the Stonekin lands of Kamenor wait, separated by the winding Harthun River.

A World in Flux

Aestraea is more than coordinates on parchment. It is a living entity where the geography itself tells a story of survival. From the dense Veleskara Woods to the open Talesher Steppes, every region offers a different answer to the question: How do we make a home here?
